Down Farm, Chivelstone, Kingsbridge, Devon

Down Farm is a working farm on the South coast of Devon in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We keep a flock of sheep and a herd of Suckler cows as well as poultry. Otherwise we grow oats, wheat, barley and peas etc. We are situated near Star Point and just a short drive from Kingsbridge.

The coastal footpath runs round the edge of the farm, and provides access to many outstanding coastal and countryside walks. About one mile from the farm is the famous Start Point lighthouse which is open to the public on most days. There are many delightful coves and beaches all along the coast.

Come and enjoy bed & breakfast in a 600 year old Devon farmhouse which overlooks Lannacombe Bay. The farmhouse is only 600m from the beach and the South West Coast path. There are a host of good eating places all within easy reach and less than a 10 minute drive.

We offer a choice of breakfasts using all local produce with eggs from our free range chickens and our own homemade marmalade and jams.
